Couple Dynamics Through the Lens of NARM
We invite you to a one-day online training exploring how the NARM™ model can deepen our understanding of couple dynamics — particularly in relationships where one or both partners carry the imprint of complex trauma.
Why do certain patterns repeat in intimate relationships no matter how much both partners want things to be different? Why does the longing for closeness so often collide with fear of it? During this training, we will look at couple dynamics through the NARM framework, exploring how early relational trauma shapes the way partners connect, disconnect, and repeatedly re-enact old wounds within the relationship.
We will discuss how each of the five NARM survival styles shows up in the dynamics between partners, and how these styles interact with and activate one another within a couple. The training will also include an opportunity for case supervision, based on examples brought by participants.
